For me its being comfortable with both the person/ child and environment, its hard to do your best when uncomfortable and me not doing my best is unacceptable to me.

I have a level two in early childhood development, two years as a teacher at the basic level,three years as a daycare worker and two as a nanny and about ten years babysitting for family and friends

My son had started basic school and i was amazed at how the teacher got them to settle down and learn and she made it so fun and interactive and that was my It moment and i knew that i wanted to work with children and so i went to school to study early childhood development.

So it was my frist time working with a special needs child she has down syndrom, i was nervous at frist but we got along really well and she was so loving and fun

Hire a person and not what is on a resume, a person can have all these credentials and not be the right person. I think that while its important for a person to be qualify and experience, personality, effort, and that natural love and dedication a person will take to ensure that your child is properly taken care of is what is important. I go with the mindset each and everytime that this is my child and i take care of that child as i would my own
